This year, I have been working with Lynn Wilson to establish a scholarship for choir students. For those who don’t know Lynn, she is Lance Wilson’s mom. Lance was a choir student who died by suicide in May 2019. He loved choir, football, and people. He was loved by everyone, and his death changed all of us.
This scholarship honors Lance’s legacy of loving everyone, which is a tenant of the Staley Choir program.
The Lance Project will award two (2) $1,000 scholarships annually. The scholarship is available to any Staley High School Senior who participated in Staley Choirs all 4 years.

The deadline to apply is April 15th, 2023.
The awards will be announced at Emerald City on May 12th.
